Criminal screenings involve the utilization of biometrically captured fingerprints, adhering to relevant legislation. The AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) electronically verifies fingerprints against the South African Police Services (SAPS) database. Typically, the comprehensive report is returned within 24-48 hours upon submission of fingerprints and data.
Our cloud-based system securely stores fingerprints, enabling effortless future "re-checks" by simply providing the individual's name, surname, and ID number.
If a candidate is identified in the system with a flag indicating "Possible Illicit Activity Detected," the report will specify a SAPS Verification Request. A SAPS police report, detailing any ongoing trials and convictions, will be dispatched within 1-6 weeks.
For added convenience, we offer mobile units with Certified Biometric Officers (CBOs) available for on-site visits at your premises for a nominal extra charge. Moreover, we provide accessible fingerprint capture locations nationwide.
